The 12th Annual Black Potatoe Music Festival, New Jersey's premier independent music festival, will be held at The Stanhope House in Stanhope, NJ, July 8-13, 2007. Without catering to music industry trends, the Black Potatoe Music Festival has presented diverse acts from the national, regional, and local levels. The one rule is that you must be an independent artist or on an indie label (Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and side projects are the only exceptions).

Here in Black Potatoe World we have been busy with Upstage Magazine, DYIradio.com, The Stanhope House and yes...the 2007 Black Potatoe Music Festival. We are working hard to finish the line-up for our 11th festival of great new talent, but don't worry we will be there soon. We will not make you suffer through the cheap imitations of Independent Music Festivals that have popped up all over the tri-state area. There are some good ones, but we love watching those folks who bent over for the Major Labels now pretending they care about us Independents. We all know better...right?

Anyway, the line-up should be announced soon, thanks for hangin' in there.
